Finally back in the studio ! So i wanted to create a track using the electric bass.. just some minor fiddling on it, nothing that actually takes over the track, just sets the mood in the beginning so to say.
Its very laid back tune.. 80bpm (160 doublespeed scale on the TR8), a musical theme on sunlight, it being the source of all life on earth.. i wanted it to be a happy tune.. cause i usually write some really sad tunes.. now listening back its not really happy at all, dunno what went wrong :) Whatever..
Gear: ms-20 mini, the volcas, Analog Four, TR8 and System-1, microbrute, erebus and the NLA1 + Microgranny sampler. Circuit is just sequencing one of the volcas (bass line)
FX, strymon el capistan (ms-20), strymon bluesky (erebus), timeline (volca bass), ms-70 CDR,(volca keys).. mooer skyverb on the microgranny and reecho on the microbrute. KP3+ for some glitchy delays and stuff on send from a couple of the synths ...
All is played live.. no overdubbing, straight onto 2 track through the presonus studiolive mixer.. I also have a multitrack recording of this one should i feel the urge of releasing it. Let me know if you like it.
And the bass, is processed through my line6 FX100 multiFX pedal..
