Well, too much upbeat sort of pushes me back into the slower more minimal things.. its good for my musical balance I guess.
So I have had this melody in my head for some time, and what better way of exploring it than sending it through loads of cool FX pedals? :D What you are hearing is the Yamaha Reface CP (rhodes Rd-1) processed first through the red panda particle (reverse grain delay), then onto the strymon bluesky (shimmer), then it goes through the completely bonkers catalinbreaed CSIDMAN.. which chops up all the nice shimmer and grain delay.. to finally enter the eventide space into one of my latest space-reverb creations .
Below the table, I have the tc. electronics ditto X2 looper, on which I kick off a reface CP melody loop in reverse, appx half way through the tune.
I know this is completely bonkers, and maybe a bit on the darker and sad side.. hope you like it !
