AI intake assistant that answers questions and captures leads for therapy practices - TheraLead is an embeddable chat widget that therapists add to their website with a single line of code. It answers common logistical questions: fees, insurance, availability, and fit, using a hardened AI system prompt that strictly avoids clinical advice and activates a safety override for crisis disclosures. When a visitor is ready to connect, it captures their name, phone number, and preferred callback time, then instantly notifies the therapist by email and SMS.
In this demo I show a live deployment on a real therapy practice website, a full conversation flow from FAQ to lead capture, and the guardrail system blocking out-of-scope clinical questions in real time.
Who will find this most interesting: Solo and small practice therapists who are losing potential clients because their website has no way to answer basic questions after hours, and private practice consultants, therapy group practice owners, and mental health startup founders who see the gap between a therapist's availability and a prospective client's moment of readiness.
