Bungie's choice to focus on Marathon and ultimately end Destiny 2 development with no promise of future Destiny projects is already difficult to process. When looking at Marathon's Season 2 performance and general mood around the game, it is VERY clear that the situation is not getting better. The question is, how on earth will Marathon sustain Bungie? The other issue is layoffs.. If Sony / Bungie take this route, the prospect of a come back seems immensely unlikely.
