This was an engineering design project in my AP Physics 1 class. Students had to use experimental data, energy analysis, and coding within spreadsheets to automate calculations for a mock bungee jump. Here are the final test results for my 3 AP Physics 1 classes.

This project is adapted from the Patterns Approach, initially developed by Bradford Hill to engage high schoolers in the process of science. The approach is now known as the Patterns High School Science Sequence, a three year course pathway and curriculum aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
