Grimer has betrayed Dr Robotnik and has joined forces with Empero Ko Door and the Drakon Empire. they plot there upcoming attack on the Floating Island with there top prize being the Chaos Emeralds! Meanwhile two troublesome characters known as Hobson and Choy have dropped themselves in hot water with Emperor Ko Door. After being sentenced to a prison cell by the Emperor they make a frantic escape. They manage to steal a dimensional staff from a Drakon Prosecutor and quickly use it to escape however they have no idea where there destination is set! They wind up on Flickes Island in Dr Robotnik's base!
