Fuzzy Bearbarian | Bullying Whiteclad Noble / Black Myth Wukong NG+3 @fuzzybearbarian | Uploaded 3 weeks ago | Updated 1 day ago
I'm very happy with this max level (342) NG+3 fight against Whiteclad Noble in Black Myth Wukong. It was super fun to work this out. My goal, given the boss moves around a lot in both phases, and especially because it heals in phase 2, was to destroy it as fast as possible with a combination of pills and precisely timed buffs and spells.
To achieve this, I balanced out my damage output with crit damage %. With the spirit I used this meant zero defense, so the boss can one shot me if it touches me. I also made sure to maximize the mana available to pull off the spells I wanted to chain across both phases, as well as adding mana regen to the health gourd.
The rest took precise timing, including immobilizing only when the boss was in mid-attack to ensure I got enough damage to close out each phase. Though this looks easy, it definitely was not to get this result. It took a bit of planning and obviously precise timing. With two phases where the boss can do whatever it wants and since it can heal, everything had to go exactly as planned. Fortunately it did, minus some perfect dodges, but that's okay as it was super fun to pull this off even if it's not 100% perfect.
I know I can do this better though, but for now I just want to move on to the next boss. Maybe in NG+4 I'll take a run at making it faster and smoother.
