Diego Stolz attended Landmark Middle School, a school within the Moreno Valley Unified School District. This was a district known for their negligence when it came to bullying and safety of the students. A fight would break out between Diego and his bullies on the school campus. His death would be recorded by students and posted online. This led to a lawsuit settlement from the school of $27 million for the family.
