Here’s a small section of historic Bull Creek passing through New Waterford, Ohio. Originating in a wetland area directly at the south end of Pine Lake in Mahoning County, Bull Creek ends up running along the historic Great Trail that led from western Pennsylvania into Ohio. This creek was undoubtedly used by both settlers and American Indians as a secondary highway into the Ohio country for a great many of years. There is zero information about it online, but the enormous valley it cut through the land would have been a rather beckoning sight from the stretch of the Great Trail, which ran along modern day Ohio State Route 154 near Camp Frederick.
