Although most tanks are in one way or another built for a specific armament the Sturer Emil is a bit more of a special case. Virtually every part of the vehicle that was changed was just to get the gun to be functional without really improving it as much as was needed. This would lead to the tank becoming known as the Sturer Emil, or Stubborn Emil.
