Before we open a single design file, we build the entire visual world in Adobe Firefly Boards. I've been helping my mom bring her brand to life—she's designing and building homes in La Paz, Mexico for Canadians and Americans wanting to retire on the Pacific coast. My designer Kostya and I are nowhere near Mexico, but that doesn't stop us from imagining every detail: desert architecture, warm light, signage, stationery, even a coffee packaging welcome gift for her future clients.
