Our Hospital and our Foundation would also like to express our sincere thanks for your generous bids during the capital equipment drive at our 2019 Gala to help us raise an incredible $220,000 to secure a dedicated breast-imaging ultrasound machine! This new ultrasound will help our radiologists to offer quicker, more accurate diagnoses to the one in eight Canadian women who will develop breast cancer during their lifetime—women like Teresa Wright, who so bravely shared her story with us that evening.
