What if your kitchen could actually think? In this demo, I showcase SHERPA-K, an AI-powered kitchen assistant designed to manage groceries, track pantry inventory, plan meals, and recommend recipes based on what’s already in your fridge. Using barcode scans, voice notes, SMS, and natural conversations, SHERPA-K becomes a real-time “brain” for your household kitchen.
What started as a simple grocery-list idea evolved into a powerful AI agent capable of understanding family preferences, dietary constraints, shopping habits, recipes, and even late-night cravings. Built with Claude Code workflows and a custom agent architecture, this project demonstrates how AI can move beyond chatbots into practical everyday life.
Watch as the system organizes shopping lists, checks pantry inventory, suggests meals, and even helps create a Korean-inspired fusion dinner in under 20 minutes.
