This video is the first in a series that may span quite a bit of time. Before buying my place, I wanted to invest in doing some smart home stuff including have a homelab in the house. After nearly 2 years, I haven't really started ANY of it. Now is when I change that, and for the fun of it, I decided to document my process and what I'm doing.
This series is NOT a tutorial and I welcome all kinds of advice and tips so be sure to leave some if you've got any!
For the first video, I'm just going over my plans, the stuff I have as well as installing an Alexa Hub so my wife can easily control the systems I'll be putting in place.
