So I began my closet plans basically when we moved into our house but was always too intimidated to start it. For one, the cost alone of doing a closet can send you to the poor house. But also, I had never tackled something this big and technical before. My skills have only ever been applied to furniture and the occasional open shelf. So an entire closet was daunting, to say the least.
But, about a month ago, I decided to bite the bullet and do what I do best: wing it. As a child, my friend and I would spend hours coming up with our dream homes so that we could get an established layout for game of House. Taking inspiration from my child self, I decided to draw out exactly what I wanted my closet to look like. I found myself putting two particularly odd drawers. One was a vertical drawer, the other, a hidden drawer. Having never made a drawer in my life, I figured I'd start with the easy ones I guess.
So in this video, I'm going to be showing you exactly how I built my first ever drawer and made it discrete enough to fool any laymen!
