Today I am building my custom village in Hardcore Minecraft.
Well..... at least starting it.
Turns out that building a village underwater takes a lot of prep work, I needed to come up with a design that will fit the futuristic theme the ocean monument is meant to, I needed to build the spaces for my villagers and then drain them as well.
These phases of a project can be trying at times. Some steps require a lot of work for seemingly little reward. But I have my eye on the final product. All the glass, sea lanterns, and sponges I had to place this week will lead to something great... I know it.
Zoning out to all of the block placing allowed me to do some self-reflecting. In this episode, I discuss the ways my designs come to life, what Hardcore Minecraft is to me, and how I approach a project. Sometimes these recordings move pretty fast so it was nice to slow down and ponder these things.
