Building muscle and losing fat at the same time is not a trick.
It’s a priority problem.
Most people try to “burn fat” first
and hope muscle comes later.
That’s backwards.
Muscle is what raises your baseline.
It improves insulin sensitivity.
It increases energy turnover.
It makes fat loss easier and more stable.
Recomposition only works when muscle gain is treated as the main objective
and fat loss becomes the byproduct.
That means:
Training has to be progressive.
Calories have to be controlled, not extreme.
Protein has to be non-negotiable.
If strength isn’t moving,
your body isn’t being told to build.
And without building,
there is nothing to preserve while losing fat.
Fat loss is a phase.
Muscle is infrastructure.
Build the infrastructure first
and fat loss stops feeling like a fight.
