Welcome to Episode 2! In this 5-part video series, I’m taking over my cousin Katrina’s esthetician business and helping her take the leap from working out of her home to creating a professional salon suite. Katrina has been in the beauty industry for 6 years, and together, we’ve got a bold plan to revamp her business, improve the work environment, and increase her revenue.

What’s the vision for the business?
Creating a mood board to set the tone
Finding the perfect location and shopping for supplies (paint, furniture, and more)
Securing the new salon space

Setting up the space: painting, assembling furniture, unboxing new decor
Decorating and adding those personal touches to make the space feel like home
Episode 3 – The Experience:
Creating the perfect customer experience
Building a service list and setting up for each service
A full salon tour and service demo
Exploring add-ons that will elevate the client experience
Episode 4 – The Execution:
Analyzing what's working and what's not
Gathering and applying customer feedback
Crafting a marketing and social media strategy to boost engagement and attract more clients
Filming content, collaborating with models, and using trends to increase visibility
Episode 5 – The Take Over:
After letting Katrina run the business for a few months, I’m stepping in for 30 days to see if I can improve on her goals
Changing the logo, revamping social media accounts, and exploring fresh ways to create content
