Check out the latest update on the Tools for the Trades™ Rat Rod Go Kart Build Off in month three! YouTube Creator and car restorer Dylan McCool takes us through the progress made by the students from Lakeville North and Minneapolis Public Schools.
From bending frames to mounting NorthStar 740cc EFI engines, these high schoolers are working hard to bring their rat rod go karts to life. With guidance from mentors Greg Steadman, COO of Petty’s Garage, and celebrity bike builder Billy Lane of Choppers Inc., the teams are facing tough questions that challenge their earlier plans. Despite limited time and upcoming breaks, these students remain focused and motivated to cross the finish line, solving challenges and working together as a team. It’s amazing to see how much progress they’ve made.
