From Visual Studio Code you can easily connect your own MCP Server, be it local or remote for example hosted on Netlify!

Let me walk you through my initial implementation of an MCP Server for my side project built with TanStack Start, able to connect to the Postgres database (via drizzle) to retrieve customized data.

During the demo there's also a preview of using better-auth to authenticate the current user getting personalized answers from the MCP Server.
