As I started doing additional video editing, and wanted to check out more PC games, my old laptop could only take me so far. So, I decided to go crazy and build myself a PC.
First, I set a few ground rules -- had to be Micro ATX. I wanted something a reasonable size, although the case... actually turned out to be pretty big. When it came to the main components, I decided to set my sights directly into a mid-tier machine. I think I might have spent a little more than I probably should have done, but it was certainly worth it by playing through probably the best experience of Bioshock Infinite you could probably have.
Here's a exact list of everything I used in my build, complete with the prices I paid. One thing I did notice is that prices can drift around, even over a couple of weeks, so that could be worth keeping in mind.
