Building a Minecraft Survival Base! Episode 05, Nether Portal Tower! This must be my favorite addition to the Survival Base; we need to get to the nether now, so we have to get a portal set in! We don't want a bland boring portal, so we built a dual observation tower Nether portal structure!

Building a Survival Base! My new favorite series. Each week I will release an episode as we progress through building a Minecraft Survival Base. Starting with our first house, moving onto farm type buildings and creative protective builds, and working towards a huge but practical Minecraft Base! In the fifth episode it's time we get the option of heading to the Nether. So! We need to create an awesome structure to hold our Nether Portal! I didn't want to create some boring bland build or leave it out in the open. I also had plans to create an observation tower. Therefore, we created a dual purpose Nether Portal Tower, so we can look out at the area around us as well as have a nice looking build to enter into the nether from! Enjoy!
