This is my contribution to the #sockettome7 build off! Although "Super Socket 7" systems get a lot of interest these days, I'm going to look at the total opposite end of the spectrum - Intel's very first socket 7 CPU and chipset. I'll be building a high-end gaming system from around 1995/1996, including a 3Dfx Voodoo card for 3D acceleration and a Sound Blaster 32 with 2MB of add-on memory for soundfonts!
