With the LongMill MK3 coming out, we thought, what better way to christen a new machine than to build a fancy guitar? But we’ve already built 3 guitars in the past, so this had to be something different. Better, cooler, a little more special.

This time around, we decided on a semi-hollow-ish body guitar, inspired by the overall forms of the Gibson 339 and Gretsch G6, with a personalized flair. The star of the show: a beautiful piece of black and white ebony for the top. We designed all the files in Vectric Aspire and carved the pieces using the LongMill MK3.
