Sometimes the battery damage goes beyond repair, and when it does it's fantastic that there are geniuses like Bolle out there, recreating the old logic boards from scratch. This is part one of the meticulous process of transferring components from a battery damaged board to the shiny (and purple) new one.

Bolle, the genius who brought us the Macintosh SE/30 reproduction, LC475, Mac IIfx and the Micron Xceed SE/30 greyscale mod has been at it again. He has made a ground-up recreation of the Quadra 950 logic board, and it just so happens that I have a battery damaged board thats ready to donate its parts in the name of science.
I think I may be the first person to take on this build (other than Bolle himself) so it should be a bit of a historic moment for vintage Macintosh fans.
A huge thank you to Bolle for sending me this board. It was a very generous gift (or he may be secretly trying to torture me from 16,000 kilometres away).
