🧶 THIS WEEK'S PROJECT
Project: Stripy, All-in-One Mini Cat 🐱
This week we'll be learning how to make a cute little striped cat knitted as an all-in-one project.
Rather than knitting lots of separate pieces and sewing them together, we'll be using the skills we learn during the episode to create our mini cat.
It's a fun little project that gives us a chance to practice some useful knitting techniques while creating something cute and colourful along the way!
And, as always, you can choose your own favourite colours to make your cat completely your own. 🧶❤️
📚 SKILLS REQUIRED
In this episode we'll be using:
• Pinhole Cast On
• KFB – Knit Front and Back
Don't worry if you've never tried these before!
I'll demonstrate each skill slowly and clearly so beginners can follow along and practice before we put those skills into our project.
These are useful techniques to have in your knitting toolbox, and you'll see how they work together to create the shape of our little cat.
🧶 MATERIALS NEEDED
For this week's project you'll need:
• Yarn: Yarn suitable for your chosen project and colours
• Needles: Appropriate knitting needles for your yarn
• Other materials: A tapestry needle and stuffing
Choose your favourite colours and have fun creating your own stripy cat! 🐱🧶
👀 LAST WEEK'S PROJECT
Before we start this week's project, we'll take a look at last week's Stitch and Sip project!
We'll have a look at the finished project and see how it turned out before grabbing our needles and getting started on something new.
And then it's time to grab our needles and get started on something new!
