What foundation are you building your life on?
In Matthew 7, Jesus tells the story of two builders. One builds on the rock. The other builds on sand. When the storm comes, the foundation is revealed.
Faith in Jesus may look foolish to the world, but it’s the wisdom of God. The cross reminds us that strength is found in surrender. Peace is found in trust. And a life that lasts is built on Christ, not our own understanding.
Going through a storm doesn’t always mean you missed God. Sometimes the storm exposes what you have been standing on. When we choose humility, guard our hearts and build our lives on the words of Jesus, we can stand firm no matter what comes.
