I recently purchased a slab of Walnut and wanted to make a floating shelf so this wood was the nicest option of materials that I had on hand.
This is a very simple project that we can all do to enhance areas of our homes with timber that is available to us.
Floating shelves are a great space saving option and can be used for display purposes or storing things out of the way when needed.
