Buggy Barn Museum, Blanco (2017)
A fifth generation Blancoian named Dennis Moore spent a lifetime chasing his childhood obsession with the Old West, and it turned into the largest buggy collection in Texas. Today the Buggy Barn Museum holds more than 250 restored buggies, carriages, and wagons pulled from a dozen different countries.

Hollywood noticed. Pieces from this collection have rolled through films and shows like There Will Be Blood, Killers of the Flower Moon, 1883, 1923, and The Chosen. Moore even built a full replica Old West town on the property called Pine Moore, complete with a saloon, jail, church, and saddle shop, so film crews have a set ready to go.

If you love history, movies, or just want to see how far transportation has come since the horse and buggy days, this stop in Blanco belongs on your list.
