RIAA and buffer preamp, for vinyl record players
Versatile preamp for MM pickups and Ceramic/Crystal pickups.
Buffering low output MM (Moving magnet) pickups with RIAA equalisation.
Buffering high output Piezo (Ceramic/Crystal) which need very high input Impedance (Resistance) 1megohm or higher, but don't need RIAA equalisation.
The buffer can also add some extra gain to match the Aux in put of a hifi amp.
A simple IC op amp hi input impedance is explained and built with a cheap RIAA preamp.
