For the finalé of the BLR Hubba festival, FEA, in collaboration with Bangalore International Centre, presented sitar maestro Padma Bhushan Pandit Budhaditya Mukherjee.
He began his recital with a magical rendition of the evening raag, Marwa.
Panditji was joined on stage by Soumen Nandy on tabla, a wonderful and much sought-after musician in his own right, who has accompanied Budhaditya-da for over 15 years. Together they created some astonishingly beautiful music that left the packed audience in a state of sustained bliss.
