A scrapbooking collaboration series with my scrappy friend @MoiraOReilly
We are using our tools to create our backgrounds on the 16th of each month. If you want to have a go, tag us #backgroundbasics16 so we can see what you've been doing.
We shall only be using plain coloured cardstock, no patterned paper. Grab those stamps, stencils, punches, scissors, and dies! Embellishments and alphas are allowed!
Today's project is a "Buddy 5 Chester 10" 12"x12" scrapbook layout of my own design documenting the 2022 birthdays of my dogs, Buddy and Chester.
White textured cardstock forms the base of the layout. I've used a foam circle pad to add inked circles in a random pattern to the page. Added paw stamping and doodling for further interest.
Two 4"×6" portait photos mounted directly onto the cardstock.
Wood hearts as scattered embellishing.
Title created using Simple Stories Color Vibe foam alphas in Red and Main Character Energy American Crafts Thickers by Shimelle.
Heidi Swapp color shine and Dylusions ink splatters.
