Update: There may be some locational glitches with the double piston extender. I did, however, find a fix keeping the same volume. I may upload if it is not compacted soon.
This door, made in 1.7, is bud activated on both closing and opening. It is pretty darn fast, not bad looking at all, and may also be the smallest such door at 220 blocks volume. If you would like to try to compact it, there are only 3 qualifications to keep in mind:
1) seamless
2) 3x3 door
3) bud activation on open and close
