This suspension fork would be a good upgrade for a budget build or a big box bike like the Walmart Schwinn Axum, Ascension, Al Comp, Taff or Boundary. Better than the stock fork but not crazy expensive. Good 9mm QR forks are getting hard to find so it’s nice to still have options.
