Bubble Bobble is a life long favourite of mine. As a child, I played the C64 version obsessively. Because of that nostalgic reason, the C64 is probably my favourite version, closely followed by the original arcade.
The Amiga version always felt a bit clunky to me. Until 2020 when Pink/Abyss released "Tiny Bubble". At last the Amiga had an arcade perfect port! Brilliant, in my humble opinion.
In this short, I put Tiny Bubble (with audio) on top half of the sceen and the old Amiga version bottom half. Compared, I think the clunkiness of the older version stands out even worse than I remember it.
Now, replaying those 100 levels is a treat!
