The City of Pompano Beach held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for our brand-new Broward Sheriff's Office Substation, located at 441 NW 27th Avenue. The ribbon-cutting was held on Tuesday, July 15th.
This state-of-the-art, 2,750-square-foot facility represents a major step forward in our ongoing mission to enhance public safety and strengthen community trust. Strategically located in an area that has faced challenges with unlawful activity, the new substation is a clear demonstration of the City’s unwavering commitment to making every neighborhood safer and more secure.
The project construction began in April of 2024 at a cost of $2.1 million.
