Deaf poet Paul Scott's signed poem (in British Sign Language) "We’ll Meet Again" tells a story of water droplets separated when they become clouds but reunited after rain. It is an analogy with deaf people who may be separated by life but will be drawn to find each other again. It was performed at The BSL Haiku Festival at the Brsitol Centre for Deaf People in 2006
The poems in this channel are part of the collection made as the University of Bristol Sign Language Poetry Anthology with the aim to study metaphor in sign language poetry. The poem is discussed in the book Introducing sign language literature folklore and creativity, by Rachel Sutton-Spence and Michiko Kaneko, published by Palgrave press
