Deaf poet Richard Carter's signed poem (in British Sign Language) "Operation" explains to a worried child that having her operation is like fixing a television. It shows good examples of deaf culture and analogy using similar signs. It was performed at the Arnolfini Arts Centre in Bristol in September 2009.
