BSA brought the new Thunderbolt adventure bike to the MCL show at the NEC Birmingham. The engine is a 334cc single DOHC water cooled unit.It has a 21" front wheel
The motor uses a similar spec to the Bantam, with an 81mm bore and 65mm stroke and 11:1 compression ratio. Peak power is quoted, unusually specifically, as 29.16hp at 8,000rpm, while torque maxes out at 21.8 lb-ft and 5,800rpm.
