BRUTAL DOOM SCHISM 096 together with HontE Remastered Experimental for DOOM 2 by ku6epyxobeptka on the Red-Waltz Difficulty level with achieving 100% Secrets. Long time without Brutal Doom Schism, if you remember this is a mod where you have 3 classes to choose (4th is a work in progress and rather not playable), these are the Doom Marine, Paladin and Sorcerer, each has its own strengths and weakness. Marine is the only class that can use all types of weapons found during the game but has no special abilities, you can arm yourself with such weapons as Railguns, Plasma Rifles, BFGs, Rotary Shotguns, Heavy Machine Guns, Shotvolers and so. Paladin is a tank class that starts with increased damage reduction when you activate a passive spell during the game, he also has swords, axes and hammers at his disposal, his melee attacks are strong but also cannot wield lots of weapons. Sorcerer is the only class that has multiple spells to use, he can teleport, can cast lightning, pyromancy and cryomancy in multiple ways, has his own book of spells, you can summon deadly Scimitars but you are also incredibly fragile with basic weaponry. Schism when compared to the Brutal Doom has also slightly expanded beastiary, there are some Imps with cybernetic implants, Zombie Scientists, Chainsaw Zombies, Mecha Barons of Hell, Heavy Commando and perhaps more annoying monsters. Hell On The Earth Remastered is probably a known mappack for some of you, but did you know that there had been an update lately just before an end of 2021 with slight changes such as lighting sources, new maps and more details to existing maps? I've also included the PBR (Reflective) textures and High Definition Textures, the performance drops are not as big as I feared, probably also because it's played with Brutal Doom Schism that is not badly optimized with medium-big maps. The maps ain't that difficult with Schism but of course you must consider some things such as more monsters than in the vanilla, slightly changed secret triggers plus new to explore and even deadlier ambushes, some can take you off guard. Remember that you can't keep all the weapons all the time, you must drop some of them before picking up others - for example in Slot 4 and 6 you can have only two weapons at once while there are four and three weapons for these slots respectively. Brutal Doom v21 and a Brutal Ballistics addon by 1ndig0 together with The Flesh Pits WAD by United VirusX on the Ultra-Violence difficulty level, 100% Secrets achieved. Brutal Doom Ballistics is an interesting addon for a Brutal Doom v21 and it only weighs around 17MB, unfortunately it has not been updated for some time but it might be an intersesting choice for you. First, all of the single wielded weapons are no longer centered but seen from the right angle, this means that in case of projectile weapons you must get used a little because you might miss if you are used to centered sprites. Second, some of the weapons had been completely changed in both visuals and a little bit in case of functionality, your starting pistol has now a fully automatic second mode that depletes 16 bullets quite quickly though. Your Assault Rifle received an underbarrel grenade launcher opposite to the vanilla Brutal Doom (not seen in the video because there are no Zombies on map), but you must change fire modes between rounds and grenades. The Rocket Launcher received a completely new sprite not similar to anything before, now it holds 6+1 rockets inside when reloaded, its also way faster with its rate of fire, really deadly and useful weapon to have loaded. Next is the Plasma Rifle that instead of a spread shot alternate attack as before releases a slowly moving ball of plasma at enemies, it also uses an SFX of Westinghouse Phased Plasma Rifle in the 40 Watt Range. Railgun is a weapon with a completely new sprite, its scope has two modes - a traditional and amplified (just think of amplified night vision), highly damaging and always aim for the headshots because of the damage. The BFG received a lot of changes in terms of functionality, first you must charge the attack before releasing the slowly moving projectile and it might take some time, alternate fire is a plasma beam that obliterates anything on its path. Opposite to the vanilla Brutal Doom some weapons are missing as you will not find an Assault Shotgun, Machine Gun, Grenade Launcher, BFG11K or the Unmaker in the arsenal, maybe author will come back to the addon after this :P. You might also notice that enemies tend to stall a lot once they take a lot of damage, in such stance they are about to die - in case of Pain Elementals they will simply explode and release more Lost Souls.

PROJECT BRUTALITY 3.0 and The Earth Realm + Final Boss from Elementalism for DOOM II Hell On Earth by multiple authors on Ultra-Violence Difficulty level, Chaotic Random Spawn Preset, 100% Secrets Achieved. Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom - expect a lot of fun when playing it. Please note that the Project Brutality 3.0 in its current state is still Work In Progress, so bugs are to be expected, together with crashes to desktop (same with addons, they are not 100% always compatible and actual). The Final Chapter of Elementalism in this playthrough is the Realm of Earth, in my opinion this is the shortest one when compared to the Fire or Water Realms, but also has one of the largest open maps available to play. First two levels in the Earth Realm are short and fun, both can take between 15 to 20 minutes to finish, they are also not too difficult because the highest tier monsters are scarce, they appear at the end of the second map. But the real fun begins once you reach the third level, since then you must prepare yourself for lots of quite annoying ambushes and more and more tougher monsters that are going to simply vaporize you, including those custom in Earth Realm. The wide open areas are surely a match for your hardware, if there are way too many monsters spawned (especially in the penultimate map), simply lower down the difficulty because 1000+ Monsters with large map + Project Brutality is a lot. Third level begins not too difficult in open area where you must find an elevator to some sort of temple in the caves, once inside you must find two skull keys (Blue and Red), but be careful because rooms there are small and full of traps. You are also going to encounter that flying Stone Golem custom enemy from BLOOD, it deals a lot of damage (like Stone Demons) and they are quite a priority to put them down as soon as possible, they are also quite annoying too. Once you activate a teleporter, grab a Yellow Skull Key and head down - but surprise, previously vast and open area is full of demons, fight your way back to the elevator and open the locked doors to enter The Fallen City of Hedania. And oh boy, you will love or simply hate this map just because of its size and quantity of monsters - on the highest difficulty level there are 1000 and more of them, fight your way till reaching the last elevator in the caves. KEEP IN MIND that I collected in previous playthroughs all symbols from the fallen Fire & Water Bosses respectively, thus when I defeated the God Parasite I have to face a final final boss of this WAD - The Herald of The Apocalypse!

PROJECT BRUTALITY 3.0 together with Vow of Vengeance WAD by Bri on the Man and a Half difficulty level, Chaotic Random spawn preset, 100% Secrets achieved. Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom - expect a lot of fun when playing it. Please note that the Project Brutality 3.0 in its current state is still Work In Progress, so bugs are to be expected, together with crashes to desktop (same with addons, they are not 100% always compatible and actual). Vow of Vengeance is a beautiful and quick WAD that consists five quite difficult levels to complete, most of them take less than 10 minutes to be finished, but oh boy they can really be troublesome for you to play. First of all, maps basically throw at you the toughest monsters in the really difficult situations in not always so open spaces where your movement is restricted, it is advised to simply run and shoot whenever possible. Second it is quite mandatory for you to grab as many secrets as possible to simply survive - first level has Megaarmor, Plasma Rifle, BFG and Soulsphere hidden in secret areas, without them level is way harder to be completed. As expected, when you have almost nothing to start with but your Assault Rifle and Pistol, you must find as many great weapons as possible, I had tons of luck to grab basic BFG in the first level instead of cursed BH Generator. Same goes with the addon weapons Ive loaded to play with - Commander Shotgun that has multiple ammunition types including the white phosphorus and explosive (but not found by me), Paingiver with homing missiles and good old reliable HMG. Heavy Machine Gun is a god-like weapon because its a fast firing weapon using common rounds, with 80 of them in drum you will wreck damage to anything in your path, with Quad Damage you can easily take down even a Cyberdemon (tested). Paingiver is one of best weapon addons so far Ive played, it does not have to be reloaded at all and its alternate fire mode shoots 3 missiles in rapid succession, homing to a crazy extent, just remember to fire it in open areas. This mappack surely demands from you using a Plasma Weapons like Rifle of BFG lots of times, same goes with sending rockets at monsters, lots of areas throw dozens of them at you, scoring 40+ kills in few seconds is not something rare. The final level surely needs a pretty good rig, because its a large open area map with 350+ monsters at the same time, you can eliminate half of them in first two minutes, also remember that first secret is to be grabbed instantly.

Starcraft II Wings of Liberty Reversed Mission The SAFE HAVEN on the Brutal Difficulty Level, where we have to play as the Protoss Fleet under command of Selendis to eradicate the infested colonists and Raynor. Compared to the normal version of the mission where we have to destroy the Protoss Nexuses and the Mothership, this version in my opinion is a little bit easier as always because Toss have Carriers, buildable. The main objective is to simply assist the Mothership AND defend it from the Raiders attacks, thankfully they use mainly the flying Vikings to simply take down the Mothership that has tons of HP and shields. The additional objectives for this mission are to defend all three Nexuses from being destroyed (Terrans simply love to raid your two outposts, especially the one closest to their main base of operations). Thankfully the attack patterns are scripted so you can be prepared for the attacks after some practice, the attack waves consist mainly from Vikings as their main anti-air plus Marines with Marauders, Tanks and Diamondbacks. Carriers supported by Scouts can deal with such attack waves quite without problems, Scouts are great against masses of Vikings even despite their lower range but because of their sheer reliability they take them down. However you cannot produce the Carriers only in this mission because they are slowly produced, are extremely vulnerable to mass of Vikings, their movement is slow, they are expensive and surely need tons of protection. But their sheer reliance in terms of armor and shields, long range as it is an aerial artillery unit that needs Interceptors to attack and defend, these Interceptors when a lot are also a nightmare to deal with. Level begins with the introduction to the mission, as earlier wrote with defending all 3 Nexuses as additional objective, you also need to avoid building the Photon Cannons + you need to destroy Raynors base before last settlement is vaporized. The Photon Cannons are honestly not so needed because the aerial units will be enough to fend off all the attack waves (shame you cannot train the Dark Templars), and Interceptors simply shred all ground units to pieces. Use the Chrono Boost to boost the production speed of your Toss fleet, look at the available Psi slots and build additional Pylons, get as much vespene gas as possible because these Carriers surely are expensive. When you have anough carriers (8-10) plus the nice Scout barrier to shield the Vikings missiles, you can easily attack the Raynors base, after some struggle you will overcome their defences and destroy the base.

Xperiment Facility is a single level WAD (currently) where we have to explore the facility where some kind of experiments with demon tech and portals went really wrong, there are lots of the doomed Marine corpses lying. We begin in a small room surrounded by lots of the toxic waste around us, in front of us there is a plenty of health packs, shotgun and an armor to pick up, move further and you will be in a corridor. Few demons will be waiting for you there, do not hesitate and take them down, use barrels as your friend to take them down even faster, then press a switch and a shotgun with some ammo will be revealed to you. But be prepared for a small ambush because this switch also opens corridors to the three reactors that you must shut down to proceed with a level, but be careful because there is only one BioHazard Suit to turn them off. You might also look for the secrets there because the starting area has 4 of them (this means all) quite close to you, there is an early minigun spawn, some rocket ammo to find, super shotgun and a Chainsaw near Invulnerability sphere. Map involves some backtracking as to open the blue doors you need to find a key by using an elevator and then returning back - behind the blue doors to your right as you return, fight some Hell Knights and press a switch. Then proceed to another blue marked doors and move inside - you will find a big red tube with a Cyberdemon inside, you can fight it whenever you want when you pick up a yellow key but there is a BFG nearby just after using an elevator. With both keys return to the place where you found the blue key and move outside, since then find a Spider Mastermind and grab the yellow skull key that is needed later for you to reaching the portal to Hell itself. As a warning you need two files to have this map properly running without ! signs in various places - with map you also need to load the voxel vehicle pack included in the topic with a map.

Hell Crusher 0.3 a Doom gameplay mod being created by H3LLW4LK3R together with Enigma of Sector Sigma WAD from Albatross with 100% Secrets achieved. Enigma of Sector Sigma, a 5-level WAD with a very fancy name (it is a reason why I checked a topic on Doomworld, honestly), most of them are really fast to complete but dont expect them to be easy to be completed. The maps are surely tricky, all of them have ambushes that can surprise you while playing and there are also some additional custom monsters added to WAD like Afrits or Dark Revenants, Afrits are really dangerous. As you can see on the thumbnail, the maps are flashy with neon-like colours and they also have lots of monsters in some places, such environments are really intense for mods that add gore like Brutal Doom or Project Brutality (I tried too). First level is fairly short with less than 70 monsters but do not be deceived because you will also meet an Arch-Vile here, plus one very annoying trap where you have to fight few Revenants and Mancubi in a very small place. Next level takes place mostly in Hell and is also a bit more difficult because be sure to grab a Biohazard suit when needed, another map that surely loves the traps like fake stairs to the secret area with Soulsphere. The second level also has your first Cyberdemon to fight in a small space but thankfully its easy to hide, this section has some compatibility issues but not with Hell Crusher, once Cyberdemon is dead the bars will lower area to teleporter. Third level starts with a really nasty surprise for a player (yes, thats from the thumbnail), an open-closed area with over a 150+ basic Zombies and a Spider Mastermind that will mostly mow them down quickly, plenty of rifle ammo for you. This map also has another area fight at the end with a big amount of monsters, but if you have Plasma Rifle they make a short work of Imps, Pinkies and Revenants, especially when you release a Heat Wave close to them. Penultimate level is for sure the longest one and the hardest, there are few really annoying fights in closed areas where it is not much area to run around, also it is not so easy to find yourself on map, secrets are pretty mandatory to survive. The final map has 0 secrets and is also the shortest one because its a medium sized pentagram shaped arena with 5 waves of enemies, all you need to do is to grab ammo and health bonuses to survive, then kill last 5 Cyberdemons to finish it.

PROJECT BRUTALITY 3.0 and IMMORTAL WARFARE for DOOM II Hell On Earth by various authors, Chaotic Random Spawn Preset on Man And A Half Difficulty Level with 100% Secrets Achieved. Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom - expect a lot of fun when playing it. Please note that the Project Brutality 3.0 in its current state is still Work In Progress, so bugs are to be expected, together with crashes to desktop (same with addons, they are not 100% always compatible and actual). Immortal Warfare is a 10 level long WAD, most of the maps are medium in size and rather quick to complete, however you must also take into account that level designers love interactivity and some challenge. And another small note to add, MAP09 because of its bigger size and more enemies, tends to crash for me for no reason, thats why I completely skipped this map and teleported to the final MAP10. The maps are themed in the Call of Duty style, lots of them have this Middle East vibe - just look at the yellowish tint and these desert themed maps with yellow brick and rather small presence of green. Levels are rather difficult as Ive previously mentioned, lots of traps are waiting for you, especially these with teleporting monsters suddenly appearing out of nowhere are crazy and unpredictable. On the other hand you also have tons of really important and nice secrets to find, lots of these secrets involve the Megaspheres, Soulspheres, Backpacks or Megaarmors to find so they are quite mandatory. Some of the switches are also nicely hidden, on few of the maps these are switches in hardly findable places, sometimes the bikini girl posters are triggers, sometimes there are just some fake walls. Also on some of the maps there are some Cyberdemons placed just to troll you, you might encounter them in difficult places - for example in MAP08 they can simply bombard you in open area with tons of monsters. One of the maps also have an abrupt appearance of the Spider Mastermind just in front of your face, it appears abruptly spawned from the ground, in case of PB ive got the Juggernaut that can simply crush me. Another fun thing about this mappack are the nice and rather quick maps, it also involves lots of open space fighting where you have to run instead of fighting covers most of the time.
