The project "Brujo's Bowl" is the alias of Saxon Higgs, a young talented musician and producer from mid Wales (UK). Saxon started out by playing about with various instruments when he was a teenager, playing in bands and organizing jam sessions in the depths of the wild welsh countryside. On the verge of leaving secondary school, Saxon and a few of his friends became interested in electronic music. This was when dubstep had just hit the dancefloors, and still had it's unique non-commercial sound. Producers such as 2562 had a large impact on Saxon's ears.
In 2008 at the age of 17. Saxon began self teaching himself how to use various pieces of music production software. By reading and watching various tutorials. He began playing a few of his tracks out at club nights which he represented, and began receiving some encouraging
feedback. After going to a few psy-festivals in 2009-2010. Saxon's musical perception was turned sideways forever. He changed course, and began working on the project 'Brujo's Bowl'. The Brujo's work and live sets now consist of creaking psychedelic sound effects, beautifully flowing soundscape design, deep and intricate bass lines, tribal influenced beats and an overall dubbed up fusion of Dubstep, Psygressive, Minimal and Dub. With a nice dose of the zenon vibe.
After releasing a few free ep's via various labels such as 'Glitchy.tonic' and 'Arkona creation' in 2011. The Brujo Released his third ep 'Minimaliptus fruits'
soon after, on 'Distant tremor records'. And now he looks forward to being part of the ever expanding family of the Zenon collective.

Finally managed to get this on The BBC Music! Todays promoted song is Wide Eyes by the dubstep duo Dr.Ozi. This is not the first time I feature those two guys : If youve followed all my uploads, the last track I presented from them was the remix of Chris Brown song Look at me now. As most remixes will be removed (due to copyrights issues) I felt the need to share with you another one of their amazing production. Wide Eyes already received the support of NZDubstep, TronDbstp, BizzEpicMusic and DUBnutOfficial just to name a few. Now featured on The BBC Music, this original mix, in my opinion, truly mirrors Dr.Ozi potential to create harmonic sonority, balancing between pure filth and melodic samples. The touch brought by Rebeca Ortiz with the vocal definitely levels the song up from another dubstep song to a true original Dr.Ozi release.
You dont know this duo? Dr.Ozi are two guys, Nix Chohan & Christian Boyd, from Ontario, Canada. In the heart of Toronto, Dr.Ozi has entranced their listeners with mesmerizing and speaker shaking beats. Producers Nix Chohan and Christian Boyd met in high school, where they discussed their passions for music. They both produced with more basic programs on underground sites, which combined musical talent to create their sound and gain their fan-base. After getting on their feet in the music business through producing with bands and different genres of music, Nix took the time to start producing dubstep and electro music more seriously. With the help of Christian they started working with sound designing and different programs to form their own dubstep that would turn heads and get themselves known. The name Dr.Ozi comes from a character that was created by the two as a mascot which has served beneficial for their music and has gotten their red crosses known while they play. They have gradually evolved over the years, so using the experience they have gained, they have created a new sound that is appealing to their listeners.

The part around 2:18 could be improved, but youll understand why I accepted to upload that song anyway. FrazEditz is the alias of Fraser Paterson, a 14 years old artist who resides in London, England. This young guy started to make music... only about a month ago! Using the audio sequencer FL Studio, Fraz produces various electronic music styles like Drum and Bass, Chillstep, Dubstep, Electrohouse, Trance, etc.
Many people influenced his work and past events have made an impact on his music making. One of the biggest reasons that got FrazEditz to fulfill his passion and spread life through music is due to an accident where he was ran over. That event gave him a body shock, allowing him to realize that he could die at any moment. Since then, Fraz want to seize each opportunity with every breath, pushing him to do everything he can to make his and everyones life a great one. We can name a few artists that got him inspired such as Deadmau5, Skrillex, Feint DnB and many more.
FrazEditz makes music depending on his mood : He sit back, close his eyes and imagine a beat. Then he transfers the whole thing down on paper and record it with his mouth, something like tempting to beatbox whats on his mind. Once he get the gist of it... He puts it onto fruity loops, use different chords and add ambiance to create his piece.
Also to mention Fraz dont make music for the money or popularity, he makes it to spread feeling through sound, allowing others to feel the same mood he had at that specific time.

This one is a special one! The Capitan Man let me the honour to name his track and here is why I called it Amber.
Amber is fossilized tree resin (not sap), which has been appreciated for its color and natural beauty since Neolithic times. Amber is used as an ingredient in perfumes, as a healing agent in folk medicine, and as jewelry. There are five classes of amber, defined on the basis of their chemical constituents. Because it originates as a soft, sticky tree resin, amber sometimes contains animal and plant material as inclusions. Amber occurring in coal seams is also called resinite, and the term ambrite is applied to that found specifically within New Zealand coal seams.
Amber is a unique preservational mode, preserving otherwise unfossilizable parts of organisms; as such it is helpful in the reconstruction of ecosystems and organisms.
The chemical composition of the resin is, unfortunately, of limited utility in reconstructing the phylogenetic affinity of the resin producer.
Amber sometimes contains animals or plant matter that became caught in the resin as it was secreted. Insects, spiders and their webs, annelids, frogs, crustaceans, bacteria and amoebae, marine microfossils, wood, flowers and fruit, hair, feathers and other small organisms have been recovered in ambers dating to 130 million years ago.
This song will catch this special moment that is the opening of the website, along with all the other special gifts. This partnership built between people from across the world and that is here to stay!
Capitan Mans largest inspiration that got his Dubstep career started was no one else but Skrillex. He is an artist out of Canada, Ontario, and has only been producing Dubstep music since five little months! The Capitan Man has grown real fast and keeps raising his songs to another level, manipulating sound with more ease day after day. His expectation are nothing less but to be living off his dream : producing music for people entertainment. Im convinced hell be able to make that dream come true with his amazing skills.

As I said on the Facebook page of The BBC Music (http://www.facebook.com/thebbcmusic), its been some time since the last heavy Dubstep track was uploaded on the channel... I had to do something about it!
Im ashamed to say I never heard of At Dawn We Rage before today. The track Chemtrails has been taken out of the banging 4-songs EP Until the light takes us released 4 days ago. The 4 songs are so epic that I cant resist to upload all of them, and most importantly... The whole EP is available for free download so the four coming days will most likely unveil the rest of that EP!
I still havent a lot of information about At Dawn We Rage. Their first release is about one year old so theyre pretty new to the scene. Nevertheless, they already came out with some massive tracks like the remix of Deadmau5s song Sofi Needs a Ladder or the edit of Dada Lifes piece Unleash the fucking data. While being influenced by the recent Dubstep movement, At Dawn We Rage have its proper style, twisting DnB drum beats with popular Dubstep Wobbles on top of first-class synths and builds-up.

Today The BBC Music is extending its Jazz library! Released this year through Exit label on the album Data Jazz, the song Another me by Medicine Man and Sofijazz is available to download for free (as well as all the other songs of the album!) at the link specified below. Sofijazz made the song with her friend and great producer Medicine Man from Novi Sad.
From her real name Sofija Knezevic, Sofijazz is a Jazz singer hailing from Belgrade, in Serbia. At only 21 she already has recorded two songs with P.Diddy and is actually working on her album that is going to be released probably next year for Warner Bros. She got to the semi-finals of a Voicingers competition and is finishing her European tour in middle september.
Sofijazz started doing music when she was young, but she started to release some more serious songs only a few years ago. Using stuff like cameras, microphones, studio recording material, Sibelius, Magix, Adobe audio and a piano, Sofijazz produces some amazing piece of work! Her family wanted her to start playing piano and she always loved singing. Afterwards, Sofijazz started to love it more than anything and... everything else came naturally.
