Daniel in the Lions Den is one of the best known stories in the Bible. Believed by scholars to have been written approximately 2,200 years ago, the story is filled with drama and intrigue. In this talk, Bruce will discuss the deeper meaning of the story as it applies to each of our lives. The Lion's Den is symbolic of our state of consciousness during those times in our life when we have felt totally overwhelmed with fear due to problems we are dealing with that seem insurmountable and even, as in the case of Daniel, appear life threatening. The lions awaken our deepest fears. Through his absolute faith in God and lifelong practice of daily prayer and meditation Daniel shows us how to successfully overcome even the most difficult challenges that planet earth may send our way.
