Bruce Cole is Senior Fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, and from 2001 to 2009 he served as Chair of the National Endowment for the Humanities. Before that he was Distinguished Professor of Art History at Indiana University. Among his many books are Sienese Painting in the Age of the Renaissance, Titian and Venetian Painting, 1450-1590, and The Informed Eye: Understanding Masterpieces of Western Art.
