At exactly 1pm Malaysian time (1am EST, 10pm PST and 12am CDT), Disney Heroes Battle Mode has officially shut down.
Featured here are the only Disney Infinity characters who did not appear in Disney Heroes Battle Mode. This includes Time from Alice Through the Looking Glass, Spot from the Good Dinosaur, Tonto and the Long Ranger, Sam Flynn from TRON, Francesco Bernoulli and Holley Shiftwell from Cars, and Tinkerbell from Peter Pan..... Okay, technically she does appear in the game but as a move from Peter Pan and she's quite difficult to see because of her size, and also they did consider including the Pixie Hollow or Disney Fairies franchise in the game by their polls on Discord.
There is also Captain America from Marvel and Darth Vader from Star Wars, of which both their respective franchises did not make it to the final game (except Big Hero 6). True, they have other games like Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes and several Marvel games like Strike Force, Contest of Champions and Future Fight, but imagine some of them appearing in Disney Heroes Battle Mode like they did in Disney Infinity. Heck, some of Marvel characters felt more like Disney characters, including Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaurs and the forementioned Big Hero 6.
Farewell Disney Heroes Battle Mode. You were a good game, and I enjoyed playing you for the last two years, especially as Luz Noceda, Eda Clawthorne, Amity Blight and Lilith Clawthorne from the Owl House. Will there be another big mobile Disney game in the future with this amount of characters? That's hard to say. There is Disney Speedstorm and that seems to be doing well at the moment. At least this game lasted for 8 years, which is quite impressive compared to most mobile games. They tend to last for about a year or 3, including most of the Skylanders mobile games I played.
