THE SHOW: Hero Corp is a comedy/sci-fi show featuring a group of retired super-heroes in the south of France, whose powers have diminished to the point of being completely useless (aka acidman can now only throw tear-free shampoo). But as the world faces a growing threat, they find themselves forced to suit up & get back to work. Hilarity - and a fair bit of drama - ensues.
THE PAIRING: Mique has a special place in my heart as a character. His dad taught him all the wrong lessons in life: to be selfish, to be conniving, to betray others for his own benifit... He spends much of season 1 and season 2 at odds with John, mostly trying to get him killed. But at the series progresses, Mique goes through a series of realizations, and learns to distance himself from his dad. Watching Mique grow closer to John and extremely protective of him is absolutely endearing. I will make a full character study at some point because there's so much about him I couldn't show here.
