After realizing the "free" version of Brother's new Artspira app is basically useless, I started my 2-month trial for the premium subscription upgrade Artspira+ which currently costs $12.99 per month. Demonstrating on the Brother Skitch PP1 Embroidery Machine, which operates solely off the Artspira app. Take a walkthrough of Artspira+ and check out the embroidery designs & feature. I show you how to import external embroidery design files into the app, as well as simple auto digitizing with basic shape images.

Note: I used the free Signal app to transfer embroidery files from my PC to iPad/iPhone but there are certainly other ways of accomplishing this.

*11/15/23 UPDATE: Brother has just announced a change to the Artspira app!*
"Some of the feedback around Artspira was the inability to import your own designs in the FREE version of the app.
We’ve heard from you and are actively updating Artspira to ensure all users can access this feature.
So, starting on November 30th, users of the Free version of Artspira will be allowed to import any design and store up to 20 designs in Artspira (you can add and remove the 20 designs as you wish!).
Artspira+ Subscription Plan users, the Paid version of Artspira, can store and import up to 100 designs. Basically, more storage!"
