The walk across the Brooklyn Bridge to the Brooklyn Bridge Park on that sunny day was one of the most memorable sightseeing we've done in New York. By the base of the bridge on the Brooklyn side we strolled along the the walkways. Here you get beautiful views of both the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan Bridge.
As you continue south we arrived at the Brooklyn Heights Promenade (aka the Esplanade). Here we got amazing views across East River of Lower Manhattan's skyline and the New York Harbor.
This was filmed in April 2006, after the remains of the original World Trade Center Buildings was removed and prior to One World Trade Center and Freedom Tower had risen at the site.
