So...this is a controversial scenario. I have mixed feelings about the idea myself, of BL growing closer as a result of Peyton's death. But I think if that would have been the case in 6x24, that result would have been inevitable, whether Brooke and Lucas ever allowed themselves to revisit romantic feelings or if they would be just major support systems for each other. I didn't have a plan when I started this video either...I just let it take me where it took me, and tried to have closure and respect where needed and leave open ends for you to interpret how you want. There's no real right or wrong answer in my book, in some ways I don't think Brooke would have ever gone there and wouldn't have wanted BL to be potrayed as "leftovers," and in other ways I think Peyton dying/being completely out of the picture was the only way she would ever let go of Lucas enough for him and Brooke to explore what could have been in their own relationship. Plus I will never view BL as the "settling" relationship even as they are now.
Either way I think BL would have grown closer and been there for each other during this scenario, which is what this vid is all about! It's just such a powerful song and powerful message, it fits their regular relationship as well, but it suited this storyline too. This was a loooot of work and time for me, so even if you hate it, please say something nice! :) Hahaha.
