Leche consistently goes broody in the summer, so it was quite fortuitous that some anonymous person dropped off a baby chick in Brooklyn. A lovely volunteer drove her up north to me along with 7 other rescue hens and now they are all part of the Flock! Cardamom quickly adapted to hen life and loves her adopted mama, Leche.
