Hello my friends, this video is on molding and casting a bronze rudder shoe for a 26ft Contessa sailboat that my friend Dan is restoring. This shoe is also a bearing bracket to help stabilize the rudder along with serve as a skid plate setup to keep debris from being hooked. There is plenty to see here from molten metal in contact with moisture to some updates on the building construction.
